Eyes on the Stars — Weekly Oracle for October 20, 2025
New Moon in Libra, 28° — October 21 at 23:23 AEDT
This week’s theme- “Cooking of Air”
A Personal Note: A Quiet Re-entry
This Week, you’ll notice my writing shift.
The past week drew me into a profound place, first a recoil, then a complete reconciliation of so many parts of myself. It felt as though everything I had lost began to return, but entirely recalibrated. The sublimation became the coagulation, the chemistry of transformation completing its cycle, ready now for refinement and distillation, the approach to the quintessence, the fifth element, the soul’s pure extract.
Sleep unravelled itself, restless, luminous, necessary. In the silent hours, when the world withdrew, revelation arrived. The mind became a laboratory; the dark, a vessel of light.
I have been journeying with and now embodying both my inner and outer selves as the mental projector I was born as, and the alchemist I have become, shaped over the past five years of descent through the underworld. During this time, I deconditioned many programmes, fears, and constructs, tempered by solitude, silence, and the long dismantling of identity. Those years stripped the varnish from my perception, burned away the performance, pretence, and noise.
What remains is essence, distilled, unsellable, incorruptible.
Re-entry is the true initiation. The mystics warned us: returning to the surface is harder than the fall, because once the eyes adjust to darkness, ordinary light feels unbearable. I’ve learned that once you truly see, you can never again pretend to be blind.
So, I’m changing how I write here.
For a long time, Eyes on the Stars carried the tone of reports, forecasts, analysis, and the translation of celestial patterns into language people could navigate by. That voice had purpose. It built the muscle of precision. It gave the heavens a vocabulary.
But that season is complete.
Now the writing must breathe differently, slower, deeper, without agenda. The sky doesn’t speak in bulletins; it murmurs in images and alignments that move through the body before they ever reach the tongue. From now on, these pages will unfold as a journal of observation rather than instruction, fragments, symbols, impressions caught in passing, recorded when the current moves through.
There will be no tiers, no subscriptions, no schedule. This is open fieldwork like a notebook left on a stone table beneath the night sky. Take what resonates. Leave what doesn’t.
My private mentoring and confidant sessions continue, along with my oracle and astrological work — the Soul Alchemy sessions for those ready to enter their own map. I still write mythic narratives for personal charts when called to, weaving psyche and symbol into story.
My work with Home and Land energy — colour, design, clearing, re-enchantment, continues. I work best one-to-one, or in the stillness of retreat, where the air itself listens. I am here to guide, to see, to show others how to realign with the original frequency of their essence.
Each week, I will write what needs to be said not to perform or prove anything, nor to chase anything, but to bear witness to the subtle dance between sky and psyche and the long, slow exhale of the world as it turns.
This is my re-entry, not a return to who I was, or to what I once created, but the emergence of who was forged in the fire. Everything has shifted within me; the form dissolves, the essence remains.
Why I Shift This Week
The New Moon at 28° Libra sits exactly on my Ascendant, the horizon line of my birth chart, the point where soul meets skin, where the unseen becomes visible. This lunation isn’t theoretical; it is personal, exact, surgical. It marks the moment my inner metamorphosis begins to show on the surface.
Pluto at 1° Aquarius squares this New Moon and my Ascendant, a friction that forces evolution. It’s the alchemical pressure that cracks the shell of identity. And because Pluto now moves across my natal Lilith at 0° Aquarius retrograde in my 5th house, this transformation reaches into the furnace of creativity, expression, and raw desire. Lilith there speaks of authenticity born from exile, the voice that refuses to perform. Pluto conjunct Lilith is the resurrection of that voice, no longer feral but sovereign.
Meanwhile, Saturn retrograde in Pisces finishes his work in my 6th house of daily rhythm and embodiment, the long purification of form, the discipline of service. Neptune will soon follow, and when both cross into Aries in early 2026, the language of my being will alter again, sharper, clearer, more elemental. I can feel it already: the words rearranging themselves, the mind thinking in new architecture.
I have spent the past nine years experiencing every major initiation a chart can undergo: Pluto transits, Saturn returns, Uranus on my moon, Neptune on my Saturn, Chiron return, eclipses crossing my angles—basically, the complete underworld curriculum. It has done its work. The excavation is complete.
Now comes the reformation, the re-entry. I feel it before I can name it. My vocabulary is still catching up to the new frequency, but the sensation is unmistakable: a new self assembling from the ashes of the old.
This week, as the New Moon rises on my Ascendant, I shift because I must. The cycle of performance ends; the era of embodiment begins. What was theory becomes lived matter. What was whispered becomes spoken. What was hidden beneath the horizon steps fully into light.
Now for the week ahead — it begins with a Libra New Moon at 28 degrees. With Mercury and Mars both at exact degrees in Scorpio on the same day as the new moon, it feels auspicious and a little unsettling all at once. Be mindful of this energy this week; things could become a little volatile indeed, if not managed well.
The Theme this week I have titled “Cooking of Air”
“Cooking of air” is a Hermetic metaphor for the refinement of the invisible, the distillation of spirit from the most subtle element. In alchemical language, air corresponds to the volatile principle, the intermediary between matter and spirit. To cook it is to apply heat, consciousness, will, attention, to what is formless and unseen until it condenses into perceptible essence.
In practice, it refers to two simultaneous operations:
1. Outer: The sublimation process, the raising of vapours or spirits through heat so they separate from gross matter and can be recondensed in purer form. Air becomes the carrier of the Universal Spirit, “the Anima Mundi”, which the adept seeks to capture.
2. Inner: The psychological and spiritual distillation of one’s own subtle nature, “cooking” the air of the mind, the thoughts, moods, impulses, until agitation ceases and the pure, unified consciousness (the Universal Spirit within) reveals itself.
To cook the air is to extract the eternal from the ephemeral, the alchemist’s paradox: heating what is intangible until it yields substance. It is the same sacred process of revisiting the story until the vapour becomes gold.
The alchemy of this week is volatile and luminous, air thick with fire, fire cooled by water, water learning to speak. We stand beneath a Libra New Moon at 28°, a degree of thresholds and endings, where balance is not symmetry but surrender.
This lunation sits in exact square to Pluto in Aquarius, a friction that demands metamorphosis of the mind, a shift in how we relate to the world and to ourselves. The mirror cracks, and the truth reflects in fragments.
Jupiter in Cancer expands the emotional tides, amplifying what nourishes, but also what has long swelled beneath the surface. Saturn retrograde in Pisces demands integrity in the invisible, pruning illusions with quiet discipline. Uranus retrograde at 0° Gemini electrifies perception, sudden knowing, language reshaped, truth like lightning in a stormed mind. Neptune retrograde at 0° Aries dissolves the false heroics of ego; it wants purity of impulse, not performance. Chiron retrograde in Aries opposes the Moon and Sun, reopening wounds of identity so they might breathe, then heal.
Mars and Mercury conjoined at 20° Scorpio speak with surgical precision, words cut to the bone, motives revealed, power reclaimed through honesty. These two are the blacksmiths of the psyche; they hammer shadow into understanding. The North Node in Pisces trines them both, guiding action through intuition, whispering: “Follow what dissolves you into truth.”
If I were to reduce the week to one essence, it is mental and emotional transmutation. The in-conjuncts and squares demand recalibration, adjustments, and release. We are revisiting the story, not to repeat it, but to refine it. This is the cooking of air, distilling clarity from the unseen, turning vapour into vision.
When you return to an old narrative and find new understanding, you are performing the Great Work. Each retelling refines perception; each revisitation separates gold from residue. But if the story still burns with the same fever, if emotion repeats without transformation, you are looping, not alchemising. The in-conjuncts expose this loop and whisper: choose a new angle of seeing, a new current to follow.
So, do not drop the story. Distil it. Heat it until the essence emerges. Through reconciliation, through the fire of awareness, the very tale that disempowered you becomes your elixir.
Lunar Medicine:
New moons are the still point, the blackened crucible before the first spark. This is not the moment to act but to listen. The seed is invisible until the light begins to return. For 48 hours after the lunation, breathe, rest, let what is unspoken rise. Set intention only after the first flicker of inner light, when a thought lands with peace, not urgency. That’s your true direction.
Elemental Work:
This week carries the triad of air, fire, and water.
Air — the mind’s distillation. Observe, reflect, name the truth, but do not rush to conclusions. Let your thoughts aerate like wine.
Fire — the will’s ignition. Apply heat where clarity is needed, not where ego craves control. Burn illusions, not yourself.
Water — the soul’s dissolving. Allow tears, intuition, and emotional saturation to cleanse, not drown.
When balanced, these three create steam, movement, transformation, and manifestation. That is the cooking of air.
Moral: The world will always ask you to perform. Spirit asks you to transform. Choose transformation.
Medicine: Let this week be your retort, your sacred vessel. Speak only what clarifies. Rest when the heat rises. Remember: to cook the air is to find form within the formless, to turn invisible breath into living truth.
The Transmissions for each sign this week: through the language of Alchemy.
Aries — Recalibration
The mirror shifts; you are no longer driven by reaction but by recognition. Pause before acting, refine the fire into direction.
Taurus — Integration
The ground you stand on is alive. Let the body teach the mind what safety really means; let comfort evolve into courage.
Gemini — Transmission
Your voice becomes a spell and a scalpel. Words can heal or sever, choose them as if each syllable could reshape your world.
Cancer — Expansion
Growth no longer comes through giving more, but through receiving differently. Let nurturance include yourself this time.
Leo — Reformation
Identity cracks open under light too bright to hide. What emerges isn’t performance, it’s the pure heat of essence.
Virgo — Synthesis
Your craft becomes alchemy when you stop perfecting and start unifying. Precision meets intuition; that’s your real order.
Libra — Emergence
This New Moon is your rebirth. You are the crucible now, balance isn’t peace; it’s pressure refined into grace.
Scorpio — Transmutation
You’ve lived inside the flame long enough. The ashes are ready to form into matter again, don’t fear solidity.
Sagittarius — Visioning
A new philosophy arrives disguised as restlessness. Follow the thought that won’t let go; it’s your compass to higher truth.
Capricorn — Reconstruction
Authority is being rewritten. Stop building for approval; start building for alignment. Structure must serve the soul now.
Aquarius — Revelation
Pluto’s whisper grows louder, your own frequency returning after years of distortion. The revolution is internal first.
Pisces — Crystallisation
Dreams clarify; intuition sharpens. The fog you once floated in now becomes the lens through which you see truth.
Something extra - The Medicine I am working with this week, and I recommend it if you feel inclined.
Drink- Ginger Lemon and Honey Tea. Hot or Cold. Juice- Celery, Lemon, Ginger, Apple/ and or Pineapple.
Salt Baths- A must! Also, gargling salt water and spitting it out to cleanse and purify the mouth.
Mugwort — lunar and mercurial, bridge between conscious and subconscious, used since antiquity to sharpen dream vision and protect the psyche during threshold work. Perfect for the Libra New Moon squaring Pluto: it keeps you lucid while navigating deep transformation. Burn or steep as tea (lightly; it’s potent). Excellent before sleep for revelation and psychic regulation.
Moxibustion (Artemisia / Ai Ye), which you can purchase from Chinese herbalists or acupuncturists, it is from the same Artemisia lineage as mugwort, but prepared for fire application. It embodies the cooking of air principle, applying gentle heat to draw energy to the surface. If accessible, use it on the lower abdomen or soles of the feet to ground ascending fire and stabilise nervous charge from Uranian tension.
Vanilla — Venusian, soothing, heart-centred. It softens the edges of Plutonic pressure and restores sensuality after psychic strain. Use a drop of essential oil in warm water or a diffuser to bring sweetness back into the room’s frequency.
Marjoram — Saturnian and Jupiterian; it harmonises extremes. Its scent quiets mental agitation, aligns scattered energy, and promotes forgiveness of self—a good ally for Libra’s balancing act and Saturn’s Pisces lessons.
Jasmine — lunar and Neptunian; bridges intuition and sensual embodiment. It reminds us that clarity doesn’t mean sterility; revelation can be fragrant. Diffuse or wear on pulse points during reflection.
Elemental alignment:
Air: Mugwort, Jasmine
Fire: Moxa, Marjoram
Water: Vanilla, Jasmine
Together, they stabilise the alchemical triad we are working through this week, clarifying thought, refining desire, and soothing emotion.
To work with them ritually, burn mugwort and marjoram in the morning (invoking clarity and discernment), and steep vanilla and jasmine in warm oil or bath toward night (invoking integration and calm). It’s a complete circuit, inhale, transmute, exhale.
Until Next Time,
With Grace and Starlight
